What a weekend! Santa & a Museum saw HJC Singers jazz it up!

Santa’s Place at Kerr  Street Village, Oakville had Halton Jazz Singers swingin’ & singing’ on their main stage on Friday nite!  “Swingin’ at Santa’s Place” kicked off the set for the singers!  The set ended with an all time favourites medley of “Winter Wonderland,” Have Yourself a Merry LIttle Christmas,” and “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.”

Sunday afternoon was a historic event! HJC Singers were invited to perform in the Parlor at Burlington Museum “Ireland House” on Guelph Line in Burlington, Ontario.  Add songs like, “Silent Night,” “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer,” “Frosty the Snow Man” as well as songs from HJC Singers book 1 standards “Dream,”  “Don’t Get Around Much Anymore,”  Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” gave the museum guests a well rounded balance of ‘favourite tunes!’   Snowy weather added to create the uniqueness of this event!  Thanks  for the invitation Burlington – we had a blast!
