Welcome to the home of Halton JAZZ Singers! We’re a relatively new vocal jazz group and are pleased to be registered as a Not-For-Profit organization. The Halton community consists of Burlington, Oakville, Bronte, Milton, Georgetown and Halton Hills. It’s our home base from where we draw our musician singers!
Halton JAZZ Singers come from all walks of life – teachers, executives, engineers, retirees! The common thread is that we are musicians first: We are able to independently & proficiently sight read and sight sing from published music 4 part vocal charts and we thrive on small 4 part group vocals in the vocal jazz element! Each of us is also enjoyably challenged by technology that drives music apps which we consistently use as an integral part of our group’s skill sets! Since most of us work full time, we communicate via use of google apps (G-drive, google docs, etc.)
