Halton JAZZ Singers is pleased to announce they will be performing on Wednesday, July 19th as part of the Concerts in the Park series presented by the City of Burlington.  Halton JAZZ Singers will be performing with the renowned Mississauga Big Band Jazz Ensemble.

Mississauga Big Band Jazz Ensemble is a 17-piece band led by Bruce Cassidy, well-known musician and founding member of Boss Brass, past touring member of Lighthouse and former Musical Director of Blood, Sweat & Tears.

Performing as Halton JAZZ Singers is Darcea Hiltz (Oakville), Siona Neale (Toronto), Adam Brox (Mississauga) and Jason Miller (Milton).

Bring your blankets and join us for a swingin’ time.  Don’t worry – the concert will go on rain or shine. In the case of inclement weather, the concert will move to the Music Centre.

Halton JAZZ Singers is working with it’s own instrumental jazz trio.  HJB is made up of Heiki Tamm on piano, James Compton on drums and Brent Gelhar on string bass.  HJS+HJB is takig bookings now for fall 2017!

HJS and Swingline, the little big 9 piece band, are collaborating.  There’s a recording session happening at Studio 13 Recording Studio on July 31st.
