At HJC’s first rehearsal, 4 guest singers came to an open rehearsal “JAZZ-IN.”  Guests were asked how they heard about HJC and what their reason was for coming out to our open rehearsal.  Guest singers participated with the HJC choir members, and afterwards their comments and feedback were that it was a musically challenging and fun experience!  “JAZZ-INS” continue through the months of September & October – Alto singers with proficient sight singing and previous small ensemble exposure would be well suited to the music environment of Halton Jazz Choir – in it’s developmental stages – an exciting time to grow and get to know the jazz idiom in this new adult community vocal jazz ensemble!
